Delicious.com vs Browser Bookmarks

Saturday, September 13th, 2008

For over a year I have used Delicious.com (formally del.icio.us) for bookmarking websites.  The more traditional option would be to use browser bookmarks.  I like using Delicious.com because I think it is the easiest way to access bookmarks on multiple computers.  There are services like Foxmarks, that sync browser bookmarks between computers but that is not as comprehensive as delicious.com.

Delicious has a Firefox extension that makes it easy to sync bookmarks if you want to migrate to Delicious and don’t want to lose all your browser bookmarks or cannot bring yourself to give up browser bookmarks.

I highly recemmend using Delicious rather than browser bookmarks to anyone that needs to access their bookmarks on multiple computers.
